09:40 – 10:10 | ASEAN Initiative on e-Commerce by Dr. Soranun Jiwasurat, Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) ASEAN Member States have agreed on ASEAN Agreement on Electronic Commerce. The objectives of the Agreement are to facilitate cross-border e-commerce transactions in the ASEAN region, contribute to creating an environment of trust and confidence in the use of e-commerce, and deepen cooperation among Member States to further develop and intensify the use of e-commerce in the ASEAN region. |

11:00 – 11:30 | Update on ASEAN Single Window (ASW) by Ms. Paphanan Sirimano, Thai Customs Department ASEAN Single Window (ASW) was based on UNECE Rec. 33 on Single Window and Rec. 36 on Single Window Interoperability. Five member states accepted the electronic data of e-ATIGA Form D (the preferential certificate of origin) exchanged through ASW. ASEAN Customs Declaration Document (ACDD) and the electronic Sanitary and Phytosanitary Certificate (eSPS) will be exchanged in the near future. Download PDF |

14:00 – 14:40 | GS1 Standards and the Digital Exchange of Trade Documents across Borders by Mr. Shawn Chen, GS1 Thailand, Federation of Thai Industries The Federation of Thai Industries and GS1 Thailand have released “eCO Platform” for Exporters in Thailand to deliver e-Certificate of Origin to Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance (PAA) partners’ platform automatically, and collaborating with Trade-Van to provide “Cross-border Blockchain Platform (CBBP)” with Blockchain and PKI technology to transfer confidential documents to Taiwan’s customs and clients.
